Completed Seygus brass open comb razor - Finished

Razor has arrived. Looks very nice. On the heavy side for me but the balance is nice with a titanium handle so that's always an option.
@Thalasos @Andreas Am I allowed to polish it to restore it to it's former glory? It's developed a fair amount of patina.

Please do polish it. A bit of Autosol won't hurt. Andrew from Hone recommends toothpaste for brass. Don't use a wire brush

p.b. I used brasso non abrasive wadding, it came up a treat

Hi, friends, Andreas is the owner and says yes to glossy aspect.
I wash mine with home ammonia+tap water; toothpaste also works.
We have designed a new handle. 12mm diameter and 9,6cm (3.5in) lenght.
What do you think?

I don't want to sound negative, but as one of those privilege to have uses your beautiful razor, I prefer the original handle.

Gustavo aka @Thalasos - put me down for the first batch. Hoping the Seygus OC will be my first 2017 I am not buying anything this year purchase. The Seygus 2016 Black razor was my first purchase this year and my vote for DE of the year in @Darkbulb survey/poll (which everyone should enter).

Thanks, Dogsmro. Now people is working on this one for Christmas's clients present (mainly companies purchasing executives anf engineers, which are the people that keep the business; the workshop design and build spare pieces for them).
Maybe in the future could recover the former handle.

I love this design over the original one but with the original handle, Grip was in Abundance, So secure.
So what is the grip factor of this handle?

ManicDee, actually I havent use yet the polished new handle, but my brother in law, who is the man in the workshop says is OK. Have to be tested.
The former that was used in the pass around is also available, some units left.
