Razor: Carbon Shaving Co. Cx-316L .68
Blade: Gillette Nacet
Brush: Simpson Trafalgar T3
Pre: King C. Gillette Beard & Face Wash
Lather: Stirling Dunshire
Post: L'Oreal Men Expert Hydra Sensitive Soothing Birch SAP Post Shave Balm
Fragrance: Davidoff Cool Water Intense EDP

No dolphin finish today, taking it easy learning the characteristics of my new razor.
I think I prefer the Astra SP over the Nacet out of the 2 outings with the Carbon,
though both have delivered what I was aiming for.
I really rate Stirling & I take a good amount of time to nail the lather.
Bowl lathering, after an initial whipping to get it about 80% there I leave it to stand for about 3 or 4 minutes, in the warm bowl it then seems to change consistency.
I then whip it up to a peaked shine. Not sure if it's some placebo effect that seems to make it better but that's what I do.

Have that great Sunday shave folks, SOTD's are looking tip top!

Whatever works for you mate,I talk to my soap,a bit of gentle encouragement works wonders @Tortuga aka The Lather Whisperer 😂✌

Arko Cream Yagil

My upper lip has been rather sore and crusty since last. Weekend. I resorted to use of a guarded blade on Saturday which helped.
Missed a Shave yesterday, and today used the MWF which I find very good for the skin. Finished off with the Arko miracle cream, good for healing weepers/cuts and irritation.Though it is quite oily once worked into the skin it dries out leaving the skin refreshed.
