Another day, similar setup. The brush has been switched for the only Yaqi I own with a noticeable error - 26mm knot in a 24mm handle! Huge volume of lather from the bigger, floppier knot and a flawless finish with the London Bridge. If this week is teaching me anything, it's that I do swap things around willy-nilly, and three days with the same soap is not an inconvenience! Pretty sure I'll be ready to be a bit frivolous by the weekend though

A more cautious, light touch approach for today's shave, with habitual quality Bodyshop lather, delivered a bloodless near BBS, 8.5/10 result.

Roma Lupa Capitolina - Proraso Oat and Tea Tree - Razorine Original - Yardley Legacy

I really must use the Razorine more......it gives a really good shave!
3 passes for a perfect result

Used the M plate today and was rewarded with a very pleasant shave, not as close as the H plate and no more comfortable but still enjoyable.
The Phoenix & Beau soap is great. I’d image it’s very well suited to straight razor shavers as it’s thinner than other soaps and doesn’t dry out.

Post shave: Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel
Balm: Proraso Green
Aftershave: OSP Eucalyptus & Menthol

A fine cooling shave today with the OSP E&M and the Flexi, 2 passes on #3 then an ATG pass on 2.5 resulting in a DFS++ very comfortable finish. I only noticed the 2 areas of very light roughness during the post shave. For me, the Flexi is a little behind the Rex on efficiency on the same settings, very easily remedied. It really is a very good razor for the money it costs.
The Med prep get another run out tomorrow.
