A wonderful set up as usual. May I ask you impressions of the Grafton post shave products and the EDC? I love the Grafton scent.
Hello:

The four products that I know from T&H, Grafton, Trafalgar, 1805 and number 10, the first is the one that I like the most in terms of its aroma; I like the other trhee very much too.

Aftershave products faithfully follow their scent, and I love them. Its outings or beginnings are aromatically exquisite and powerful, but over time they decline (EdC lasts about 4 or 5 hours).

Well Oleo - Empire soap: Good properties, standing out for its duck fat Canard), and also highlighting its scent that clones Sauvage by Dior.

Magnificent Tim Zowada, endowed with a spectacular damascus and a pleasant to the touch horn handle, all of it with finishes bordering on perfection.

Sunday 17th January

Oumo 24mm SHD Manchurian - MdC Original - Katana/Gillette London Bridge - Guerlain Habit Rouge

A very nice result....so a lovely Sunday morning shave.....however the jury is still out on the London Bridge blade. Normally when I shave with the Katana ...the 3rd pass is just sheer indulgence but today
a third pass was required to get to the minimum standard required. The blade was not buttery smooth and almost felt as if it needed a shave to break it in. Time will tell.....but initial impressions are not the best.

After yesterday's rough shave with the 1912 I thought I would have to wait until tomorrow to give the Eboracum a fair trial with another razor.

But this morning there was a surprising amount of growth to deal with, so I decided to take my chances with the same brush but different razor / blade combo.

I needn't have worried. The soap performed like a champ and a 3 pass BBS came easy with no irritation. This is one of those soaps where you just have to run a damp hand over your face after a pass and immediately there is so much extra slickness and even residual cushion that you almost question whether you need to relather!

Based on the two I have now tried, Signature could be my only soaps and I would have zero problems with that as far as performance is concerned.

Preshave:
Hot water rinse
Razor: British Gillette Rocket HD 1953/54
Blade: Gillette Nacet (2)
Brush: New Forest 2402 High Mountain Badger
Soap/Cream: Proraso Green
Aftershave Balm: Nivea 2 Phase
Aftershave: Proraso Green AS

No shave yesterday but 48 hours' growth was mown down with consummate ease to leave a BBS+, 9.5/10. The cool sensation from Proraso Green croap & AS is as good as any alarm.

Wishing you all a safe, peaceful Sunday.

Regards,
Chris
