Reggies Razor x GSB new

SV Dolomiti soap and after-shave

First shave with the titan was a pleasant experience
I found it easy to locate an effective shaving angle
It was efficient without feeling like it was ready to bite at every turn
2 passes, with and across the grain with additional touch ups when required was all I needed for a smooth finish
I shaved last night and approximately 12 hours later I am still nicely shaved

It is early days but I am impressed with the razor, it's build quality, finish and performance

A delightful shave before I head out for the night
2 passes plus touch ups with a still very sharp GSB has me smooth, irritation free and ready for a few pints
Initial thoughts (after 2 shaves) I am a fan, the razor requires respect, but not intense concentration
It sits maybe a little behind the Ti blackbird in efficiency for me but still a very capable mower down of stubble

I should apologise, I had to cut my time with the razor short
It is a well made razor and not one that would be out of place in anybody's den
I hope all who use it going forward have as much fun as I did using it

1st try with the titan.

FINISH.

Very nicely polished. No blade overhang. Blade was easy to fit and snug. I found the centre post that screws onto the handle is very short. A washer was installed however there is a recess in the bottom plate that the handle would screw into if the washer wasn't there. Grip was fine. Good balance. Felt solid.

SHAVE.

I found the titan to be a mid aggressive razor sitting at the top end of the mid scale. Slightly more efficient than an aylsworth Drakant with a plus plate. It needed concentration to a degree during the shave but this could be attributed to the fact its a new razor to me. A couple of small weepers in unexpected places I'm normally fine with.
Shaving angle was easy to find and maintain. I didn't identify any significant blade chatter. Blade feel is slightly more than the drakant plus for me.

As always YMMV.

The Morris and forndran brush is becoming a favourite.

3rd shave with the titan. Again mid aggressive in the shave. Would I buy the titan ? I think for its price point its an excellent Razor in titanium that's polished beautifully. But I already have a collection of titanium razors that are also excellent. its a tad too aggressive for my taste.

I will clean and disinfect the razor and get it sent to the next person after my night shifts.

Thank you so much for allowing me to try the razor.
