Thank goodness I found a Weber from a very friend, from The Shaving Room forum, and the Weber is slightly more efficient than the original Merkur 34C, and the Goat standard is slightly more efficient than the Weber.
So, I don’t need a Goat in my den, because the Weber is bloody PERFECT!

I recently acquired the Goat from here on the BST and found it a fantastic razor.
I thought about looking for the plus plate but to be very honest my shaves are fantastic with just the standard and I have no ATG issues.
I am lucky I guess.
It's punches seriously above it's weight for me.

currently have my weber bulldog on my + plate i think it does decent but ya i do agree with the atg i think was on the og plate of the goat
did you have the ph model by chance? also i saw your review while back on IB so i wondered if it was slighty close to it about one or two of the ph before never got it back in the day

AFAIK the polish head shaves much smoother, to be honest, isn't much difference against the black coated head.

Trust me, Weber shaves better, wouldn't make much difference against the goat as a daily everyday shaver.
was this the base model you tried ive seen some of your comments on other sites or was this the plus variant i have both and how does it shave better im just wondering

From a very mild shave:-
EJDE89 & Muhle R89, both the same
Merkur 34C & 34G HD
Weber Razor polish head & black coated head
RazoRock Goat standard
RazoRock Goat plus
To very aggressive shave:-
Can't comment on the Merkur 34 INOX, because, I'm not getting it.

I'm an R89 fan..I do find the EJ DE 89 a tad bit more aggressive and efficient than the Muhle.
Looks like.I.need to get the Goats back into my den.
