No. Just no. There are plenty of aggressive razors out there. I love the GC but the AS-D2 is perfect as it is, it’s meant to shave like a Tech.I think GC .84 is what Feather AS-D2 should have been.
I wish @Tonyschin would sell me his SabreManaged to snag an .84 OC today thanks to a kind offer from @Tonyschin. I’ve had my eye on one of these for a while and I’ve been heavily favouring the .84 SB recently so am looking forward to trying its OC sister.

So Glad you like it Chris,Today I received the GC OC from Tony and the bomb-tip* handle from Shaving Time, so I introduced them to each other and gave them their maiden shave. I like the GC OC very much, it’s efficient and comfortable and looks great on the bomb-tip, a nice retro vibe. If I’m being picky I would have preferred finer knurling on the handle but that’s down to preference and some people no doubt like it as it is. It is nicely done though and as I’ve always loved the Gillette ball-end it is nicely reminiscent.
This razor's going to be a regular.
*I know technically it’s called the UFO but they copied the PAA bomb-tip and that’s a cooler name for it.
I hear ya i have the exact same thing since the lupo .95 and .72 ss came out ive been using these exclusively as they have all im looking for in a razor including nice reasonably priced for the quality that it is not to say the game changers are any less of a razor not at all they are equally as effective trustworthy and reliable its just a treat the folks at razorock expanded the choice of razors so anyone can choose whatever suits bestThe RR GC .84 OC has been relegated to shelf display duty as of late especially ever since I received my RR Lupo. I just reach for it more than any other Razorock razor in my den. Today though, it came out from it’s shave slumber as I’m participating in the OCtober event on another forum. Dropped in a fresh Kai blade, whipped up some suds from the excellent RR The Dead Sea soap and went on to have a very comfortable and easy 3 pass shave that was damn near BBS all around. A couple of tiny stragglers around the Adam’s Apple area but, smooth as silk everywhere else. I’ve forgotten how good and smooth this OC version actually is. Superb tool for the money and a great bang for your buck shaver…..

Tough one to answer. The ItalianBarber website & retail webpage states “slightly positive” exposure for the GC .68. Numerically what that entails, no one can really say. Maybe pose the question to IB themselves? Might be worth a shot.Hello,
I am sorry to dig up this post but I can´t find this information anywhere.
The RR GC .68P, like states in the name has 0.68mm blade gap and blade positive blade exposure. My question is: How much?
I´ve searched everywhere and the answer is just - positive. I believe it´s not a lot but curious the see hou much...
Thanks
