Love this film......one of my favourites as a kid growing up in the 80's!!
Likewise ... and it never gets old.

There were rumours of a 30th anniversary remake, but it was right in the middle of Sean Astin's 'Lord of the Rings' contract. Shame. I read the rest of the gang were up for it. Remake with a twist, like their kids have to save the day in much the same way.

Justin Lee Collins had lined a reunion up - just like he did with his other episodes. However, his personal life and his propensity to stalk and harass his ex-wfie frigged that!

Sorry to carry this on - my wife's favourite ever acting in any film.....when the cop says..."Holy Mary Mother of God"

The Handmaiden - Korean film following the attempts of a conman to cheat a young mentally fragile woman out of her fortune. there is a tender love story between the rich heiress and the titled handmaiden, betrayals, and very vigorous, explicit girl on girl action not to mention horrific violence as the story develops. so, something for everyone. i enjoyed it, the story was well told but for me there was too much graphic sex and violence. maybe im just getting old? recommended nonetheless

Massive Star Wars fan and this film is amazing. Very clever how they have fitted this film into the existing line up and how it explains how they got the plans to blow up the death Star in the original Star Wars film.
9/10

Just re-watched Guy Richie's Sherlock Holmes ... first one, really good ... second one, really REALLY good.

Proper enjoyed. Upon first watching, I didn't much like Moriarty, but this time he really worked for me ... Mycroft, perfect!

Jason Bourne - 4/10

Don't waste your time. Stick to the the Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum.
Ooh! I'd beg to differ ...

I thought it was a really good amalgam of the first three. Identity, Supremacy & Ultimatum were are fantastic trio! Jason Bourne was not just good because it followed a poor fourth, but because it picked up yet again from the first three, overlapping.

We watched the lot again recently and it's the first one that fails, for me, as the film does not finish where it should ... with Bourne walking away. Supremacy & Ultimatum do ... Jason Bourne does. Mrs said, "Oh, is that it?" ... meanwhile, I'm on my feet, arms in the air shouting "Yeah!".

It's like 'The Force Awakens' in a way ... clear out the old, bring in the new ... continue the franchise?

I liked it ...

I thought it picked up well from the first three with the same grittiness. It finished where it should and it finished with Bourne's signature "exit stage" ... pursued by a bear? :D

Lol, funny how we all have different perceptions. He now knows who he is, he knows what Treadstone was all about, he knows his father signed him up, and who killed him. What else does he need to know?

I felt it was much of a muchness.
