Better scents definitely, I have bought the Green cream too.Nice review, George..
Always liked Proraso. Simple, affordable, works well. Could be tempted to try the super formula but in the green or red.
Definitely not all equal... I have green and red in super formula and though both have improved performance over their previous versions the red is much better than the green IMO (takes more water so creates a really shiny slick dense lather.)Better scents definitely, I have bought the Green cream too.
Probably I will shave with it and give feedback as well.
Will get the red soap too then James.Definitely not all equal... I have green and red in super formula and though both have improved performance over their previous versions the red is much better than the green IMO (takes more water so creates a really shiny slick dense lather.)
I've not tried the new creams so couldn't say, sorry. I would probably try the 100ml wood & spice cream insteadWill get the red soap too then James.
Is there any point to get the rest cream too? I don't really have any more space..
I have the Cypress & Vetiver. Good cream.I've not tried the new creams so couldn't say, sorry. I would probably try the 100ml wood & spice cream instead![]()
Does it smell like Encre Noire? That's what I guessed...I have the Cypress & Vetiver. Good cream.
No, the Encore Noir is dark, antisocial, deep scent.Does it smell like Encre Noire? That's what I guessed...
Didn't expect that! You know I’ve never even tried blue Prorasao. No, the Encore Noir is dark, antisocial, deep scent.
The C&V smells kinda like Proraso Green & Blue had a baby.
To my nose, Proraso Blue has the best Barbershop smell. You may find it awkward because of the licorice (eggnog) smell. Lightly mentholated.Didn't expect that! You know I’ve never even tried blue Prorasao.
Cyril Salter French vetiver smells just like EN.
Yes, out of all the original Proraso shave creams I like the Blue the best and always thought it was the sleeper in the collection. To my nose, Proraso Blue has the best Barbershop smell. You may find it awkward because of the licorice (eggnog) smell. Lightly mentholated.
A winner for me. Don't blind buy though..
Of course Bob, you have a great taste. I would like to see a Proraso Blue Soap too to add in the collection.Yes, out of all the original Proraso shave creams I like the Blue the best and always thought it was the sleeper in the collection.
Bob
The ingredients list is the same I believe Steve though.. or not? When I looked closer, I noticed that my White Pre is also Super Formula. Presumably it too has been revised along with the soaps. Feels great, I know that!
