Dropped the roof on the car and went for a short drive down to Westward Ho! Beach for a walk along paddling in the incoming tide. Nice to have this on your door step ! Hardly anyone around at this time.

Before the borders were opened, the cases were pretty low. Today we have 262 cases, 36 of them in a house where older people are living.

More info about the older people. Most of them are in the ICU with oxygen.
The person who brought Cov2 to them was obviously an employee who had previously attended a damn concert. A damn feckin concert.

Superb value hill is Barrow. Amazing views for relatively little effort, and much quieter that the surrounding fells normally. One of my favourites!More glorious weather so I hike up Barrow:
