I can understand that. Driving in London is terrible, the average speed of a car is 11mph, same as it was in 1907, parking is £40 a day and yet public transport is brilliant, cheap and plentiful, no driver light railway, buses and underground are all great. Where I live is an apartment block that has an underground car park and there are Rolls Royces that haven't moved since 2005, people bring their cars when they move in and leave them unused for years.

As you saying walking is good, take your time, stop for a coffee and enjoy it.
Unless you’re in Manhattan or live near a subway line in one of the “outer Boroughs” mass transit (buses) is miserable.

Agreed. Living in NJ, only a half hour drive through the Lincoln Tunnel and maybe 20 minutes via the Holland. I figured my days of driving in to see music were over when the congestion pricing kicked in. But I find the hassle of taking NJ Transit into Penn Station and then either subway, taxi or uber/lyft to the destination to be so distasteful. And getting home late after seeing that music is even more tortuous. So I've continued driving in with the same frequency as before congestion pricing kicked in. I get to relax and listen to whatever music or news station I want as loud as I want or talk to whomever on the phone. Traffic into NYC isn't really that bad. I've sat in much worse traffic in LA.

Use to love driving but apart from taking the Porsche on a run I barely drive. Too many idiots on the roads who have no idea of the rules of the road. Not sure if it’s me but people seem to ease away from the Porsche. I do get a lot people waving or thumbs up in appreciation. To a fun drive.
I wonder if you would receive the same positive reaction in a 911 of the same age.

Drove past a load of McDonald's rubbish on my way to work this morning, people who throw rubbish out of car windows should be flogged. Publically.
You should record everything on your phone video including the vehicle registration number plate, and report it directly to the local council office and give them your recording video file.

I do this frequently when I’m out near the park or beaches.

What does that say about their customers I wonder?

The rubbish I see that's been dumped from cars does seem to be McDonald's wrappers far more than anything else. I've nothing against McDonald's personally.

I usually only see the aftermath, but did once capture an incident of littering on a dashcam and reported it to the council, they successfully prosecuted the offender.
