Chris has now announced the stainless steel Karve CB on his Instagram and Facebook accounts, with a possible release towards “late May”.
The photos Chris put on Instagram show a matte/ brushed SS razor.
When he first talked about the stainless steel razor during a Reddit AMA session last year, he said he was planning to release both a matte and a polished version.
But I wonder whether he’ll be able to release both at the same time, or whether he’ll just focus on the matte version initially.... he didn’t answer when asked about it on Instagram...

That would be good as just hit with my second customs charge on my second delivery. I cannot fault Karve for listing correctly, but it stings paying £11.50 charge for a single plate which costs £25.
I’ll hold out for them to sell a stainless one.

Is it guaranteed to not get hit customs with Maggards? I’d got my eye on couple things over there.

Guaranteed, no, likely to avoid, yes.
They mark their packages under customs limit, so unless customs decides to inspect, then it will arrive without charges.

Great razor for the money. Great craftsmanship, tight tolerances and an excellent alloy built to last. Pick a plate or two in either sb or oc configurations and enjoy smooth & efficient feeling shaves. Not to keen on how Karve/Christopher Bradley goes about their business but, the Brass version is a top notch shaver....

I bought a brass Karve with a B plate for a steal off one of the forums. Dont regret buying it. I want the stainless steel and aluminium one now (with OC plates)

Communication has gone down to 0, production of regular items has improved greatly. Last I heard about Aluminium, Chris was setting up anodizing in-house. Since Chris appears to stumble over every hurdle possible (murphy‘s law?) and won‘t accept anything less than perfection, he‘ll probably be working through countless problems with the anodizing process.

Titanium is next in line and, to be honest, I don‘t think we‘ll be seeing those in 2021.

I'm on it too, similarly no updates. The way I see it is that I’ve not sent them any money it’ll be done when it’s done.

Pretty sure he has set up his own chemicals manufacturing company by now. Perfection throughout the entire supply chain!

Made a few attempts to get some information out of them via different channels (email & facebook). But that seems waste of time - guess waiting is all we can do. Got hold of the brass version meanwhile via a german forum.
