No, nothing concrete...
Chris has been asked quite a few times about the stainless steel razor on Instagram over the last few months, he replied a few times just by saying that he’s “working on it”.
So not clear how close he is to releasing it....

Skipped a day and got to try the Karve with the D OC plate for today’s shave. A great, great shave indeed. Excellent smoothness with a smidge more efficiency over the regular D plate. Feels just as good and perhaps even better than my E straight bar plate. Just a great feeling shave that made short work of 2 days growth without any irritation, nics or cuts. 2 passes that left me near BBS and a 3rd for touch ups that brought me there. Cleaned up around Sir Adam very nicely, better than the B plate on the previous shave. The D OC plate was a perfect bridge between the milder B plate and the bit more blade feeling F plate. All 3 are great and performed flawlessly from start to finish. But, the D OC is just about perfect for my whiskers. It struck the best balance of smoothness & efficiency between this trio. Whatever Chris did at Karve, he nailed the geometry on the open comb plates. Great face feel without any harshness for an open comb and as strange as it may sound, perhaps feeling a bit better than the Karve straight bar versions. I sampled an RFB and considered it to be one of the smoothest yet efficient razors that blended both qualities to near perfection. The Karve with the D just might have equaled it, if not surpassed it....

Does anyone know the weight of the 3'' and 3.25'' handles? I could only find the weight of the complete razor with different handle lengths.

I’ve now had a couple of shaves with the OC plate.
Still very smooth and pleasant, a bit more efficient than SB. B-OC is indeed similar to C-SB in efficiency, I’ll try C-OC next to see how it compares to D-SB.

The only thing is that I feel the OC teeth a bit more compared to the SB as the razor glides across the face.... they’re not sharp or particularly uncomfortable, I just “feel” them on the skin, if that makes sense, even though I’m not applying more pressure compared to when using the SB plates...
I’m not sure if that is the normal “feeling” one gets from any OC razor, as I’ve never used one before, only closed comb until now.

How long from ordering to getting it delivered?
Just wondering when to expect mines to arrive roughly.
I put in an order for razor with 'D' SB and 'C' OC 10 days ago but still no notification of shipping yet.
Reading the posts on this thread about how good the razor is is making me impatient! Cannot wait for it to get here!

I ordered 3rd March, dispatch happened on 12th March, and no delivery yet.

I just got confirmation email last night, already thinking should have gone with D plate. I ordered D plate but then changed to C plate. Mistake.
