Well... what a shave ! I'm shocked about its efficiency, its smoothness (more than Paradigm 17-4 and Ti. II) and how it shaves :eek::surrender: Only one use and I surely can say that this is my favourite DE. I'm impressed, really. Maybe I'm lost of words. Aggressiveness (kind of cut, blade feel) is similar to Wolfman .74 SB. So it's medium-aggressive.
Negative aspect: the finish. That's not great at all. It's becoming brown too... So I'll polish the razor as soon as possible. I prefer mirror finishes :cool:

Wow, that's a really nice overview. May I ask what plate did you use?

Can't wait to get my hands on the E plate. I ordered middle of May so still patiently waiting. Demand must be very high. Chris did respond (12th June) so at least we know we're not being ignored.

As you might know, I’m working through a large batch of orders. I’m reaching out to you because you have an order in my queue. Parts are being made and orders are going out the door, but correspondence has unfortunately fallen behind. It shouldn’t, but it has, and I’m sorry for not getting back to your messages in a timely manner.

I am working through the messages and I will get back to everyone. Some sooner than others, but I am going through them all.

If you’ve sent a change request and I haven’t responded yet, I will as soon as possible. I check up on each order when I prepare the package, so if there are any special instructions and I haven't seen them by that point, I will catch them before shipping.

Obviously, it’s not the best to deal with it at the end, but I’m working to get ahead of the demand and build inventory. Once I do, I will be able to respond more quickly.

One last thing…there are several customers that didn’t give me an email address with their order, so if you find yourself talking to one of them, please pass this info on.

Really I didn’t think this would be a good razor until Yuri @struttura.originaria got it. The chap is quite demanding and tried a million different high end razors, similar stubble to mine and a 2 pass shaver. Quite shocked to see his enthusiastic response. However, this razor NEEDS to be made of a decent material before I get too excited....

I shaved today again with the Karve, plate C.

In my humble opinion it is a nice, efficient, smooth razor with a high margin of safety (i.e. it's hard to get knicks with it).
The machining is also truly outstanding.

But to be brutally honest I do not see anything more than that in the picture.
I do see the point and for the price it's a great item to acquire, but I wouldn't sell other razors just because of it.

Oh - and the brass does smell.

then it's a completely different story

I had a Ti handle at some lengthy stage, by Trident razors.
Polished. Never became able to match it well with any of my handles.

But the coming of the Timeless Ti changed everything, I tell you...
So with the present level of machining, yes, the Karve Ti would rock.

Same here, I have a beautifully machined Ti stork handle and nothing to pair it with. I also have a fantastic Ti Timeless, fantastic razor
