Well 8 (or 9) shaves in on this razor I am changing razors to try out a Charcoal.
So thoughts on it, it's a very competent razor that is well made and feels good in the hand. The handle has a good grip even when covered in soap and is the right length for me. There are no quality issues with it at all, the brass seems to be gathering patina (marks ?) quite quickly so if you don't want that look or fancy cleaning and drying it after every shave then this may not be for you. Me, I quite like the look but I would maybe accelerate the process to get it more like the Charcoal then wax it.
I found it to be easy to find the sweet spot after a few shaves and for me it is a good razor and I get a great shave with 2 passes and a tidy up or an acceptable shave in 1 pass. Could I use it as a daily razor..........mmm .....no, it it doesn't suit my skin, but for shaving every couple of days it's great.
So is it a keeper, don't think so as it doesn't add to what razors I have. I have reached the point that if a new hardware item brings nothing new then it will more than likely to be sold on. The plan being to have a dozen or less razors that fit my different moods and that all bring a bit of something different to the table. Will I be buying anymore razors ................what do you think ??

Plates E & F have been finalized. A member on anotber forum stated that the manufacturer sent him the first 2 made. Looks like those that want a bit more efficiency with the Karve are not that far away from acquiring when they become more readily available. Just might jump on it this time...

It’s become my favorite razor...out of nowhere. Quietly released without any kickstarter or fanfare.

The D Plate is wonderfully smooth. It’s not as efficient as my Timeless Ti .95 or Paradigm 17-4 but the shave is even more comfortable than those two wonderful razors. Looking forward to the E and F plates.

The watch like guilloche style handle is a favorite over my Stork and .74 Wolfman WRH7. The Karve is machined better than the Paradigm and is at least the equal to my Wolfman including the threading which is phenomenal.

Bought blind three weeks ago. Fantastic addition to our hobby.

I wish he would do it in stainless or alloy. Brass just feels like high maintenance..

I have never owned a brass razor in all these years wet shaving but I'm just letting it patina naturally. Looks pretty neat.

Chris Bradley is most likely planning on a stainless version down the road which would be wonderful.
