Brushed stainless with the black rubber-looking handle. I'm not too keen on the birch thingy.

Reminds me of the Tech Hybrid raised flat bottom and the Reyna.



I have one of the Reyna razors and it doesn't have holes in the bottom plate either.

If the Mühle were available for a lesser price without a handle I would have a harder time talking myself out of it.

There's no reason why the R96 head wouldn't be available, just as the R89 and R41 heads sell by themselves. The Progress also doesn't have holes in the bottom plate (as pointed out by Andreas). I haven't seen anything that describes the new Muhle as a 2- or 3-piece razor.

The Birch and Black handled ones are listed as "Weight: 80g".
I assume that means head and handle.
The all black "Jet" is listed as 120g

It was noted on "that other forum" that the first batch which is still due out this month might be a "small batch". It wouldn't surprise me at all if these razors are produced as a limited edition. Come to think of it, that wouldn't make sense due to the cost of the tools and dyes involved.

Gifts&Care list the two black razors at €99 ($109 £83) each and the one with the birch bark handle at €79 ($87 £66).
I'd call that reasonable. (They are not in stock though)

At $87 for the birch one I might even pick one up. But we'll see if that ends up being the actual listing price

Interesting the Rainforest model (or what ever its called) is 20% cheaper than other models. I thought before it was the most expensive. Nice bargain and tempting (thanks @Darkbulb)!!

I have been looking at one for a while and never saw a shop that sells them and other stuff I want.
