Excellent razor, I have a V2 and V3 as well and didn’t think I’d notice any difference with the V4, but I did!. If you were lucky enough to get a sound V3 then you may not notice a night and day difference, but just a slight yet discernible difference in that it is a little more smooth and forgiving on the face yet still as efficient.

After experiencing with other razors for some time I found myself reaching more and more to Rocca for its clean and deep shave.
I had some rough times with it in the beginning but I sorted everything out by giving it time and more attention to angle and pressure. Also, I have narrowed down the blade selection and I go for sure now - Feather, Gillette Platinums, Bolzano and Wilkinsons.
One more question, if you were to choose only one handle with the V4, which one would it be? Birch, black or stainless?
I have the black one and I don’t know which to choose for the V4 version - birch or stainless? I like both but I don’t know how birch will be holding on over time.
At the same time, all my razors are chrome or SS..so no color or something different in my den.
Please don’t say “ get them both”

Your Welcome, you will not be disappointed with the V4 Rocca!.
I have all three handles and like all three, it’s a tough call to chose between the Birch handle or Stainless as both are beautiful. The Stainless is cheaper but the Birch is something unique and coated so stands up to wear and time with no problems, mine still looks as good as new. But I find myself reaching for the stainless more so that would be my recommendation.
