I’m going to shift some funds around for this. I held off on the version 1 closeout deals in anticipation of new and groovy. You've got it!

I did, a lighter handle with a better form to use it shallow really made the experience more natural and comfortable, but I have a “thing” about mixing handles. If the new version addresses this I know I’m good because I really liked the shave of the Sabre.@J349 maybe try the "old" Sabre with other handles if you are looking for something inbetween the Sabre and Vestige?
Thanks P.The razor comes with both inserts, 4 levels.
The market has definitely shifted away from heavy razors over the last couple of years. When the Sabre came out, heavy razors were very popular so we followed suit. The popularity of titanium along with lightweight designs like the Vector have helped push things toward maneuverability over weight and I think that's a great thing.I'm so glad that some designers are going for reasonable weights. Once razors got over 100g they get to be quite chonky and some are too heavy. I don't use the stock handle with my Sabre for that reason, just way too heavy. The GEM size already decreases the maneuverability, so a little less weight helps offset that.
I do still really like my Sabre though! And my Osprey too!The market has definitely shifted away from heavy razors over the last couple of years. I like the look of this. If the price with the stand is reasonable*, I may** treat myself.
