Pray for hawks.It must be the silly season for tree rats (squirrels) in our area. Saw 4 of them running nose to tail along the top rail of our back fence yesterday. Must be a new generation in the making.

Woke up this morning to the circuit tripped for the water heater and no hot water. Assume it's just gone pop with the heat. Have been seeing a few weird heat related things going on especially with cars misbehaving 
Roll on some cooler weather and the engineer on Monday. A weekend of cold showers will bring down the wife's wrath on me for sure!

Snap! It's 86 here too
I have a friend of the family in Winchester who is at 38/100C. It’s due to pass fully by Saturday thankfully. It’s all over Europe.Yeah breaker is back. The tank has two heating elements like a kettle - at the bottom and the middle - and I think one of them has gone. I think it’s the bottom one…

Thanks. It’s a pressurised tank so I’ll let the engineer sort on Monday. We’re on the first floor too so any leaks are a big issue.
