My, it’s been a morning

1. Lad arrives to fit the remaining panel to the en-suite unit that was bodged last time.

2. Window cleaner arrives and does outside of house.

3. Lad finished and did a fine job. He left.

4. Cut grass at front of house.

5. Chaps arrive to install the new fridge freezer. They do a good job and, kindly, compliment me for fitting the new base.

6. Discover the wretched ants have shifted at least a pound of sand from underneath the drive’s setts. Brush what I can back in the gaps and save the rest.

7. Lunch. Hooray!

Never had an induction hob until now. With the new kitchen we went for new appliances and coughed up for a top of the range Neff with the built in extractor. All very nice, but, we have found it’s very fussy on pans. We have a set of Tefal suitable for induction hobs, but it didn’t like the small pan and a couple of other pans too.

I have a Samsung induction hob and it too can be fussy on pans even when I have checked their base is magnetic. Sometimes I heat the pan up on another hob first and then it takes it and other times I stubbornly leave it on the hob and eventually it takes it.

It's a faff but it may be a work around for you. I always have to start my frying pan on the little and move to big but it does it in 10 or 20 seconds once there is heat in the pan. I just use that time to heat up the oil.

Hope this can help

You are soon to achieve Forum God status most likely. You will never be tired again. :okay: Just one of the many perks!! :D
I waited so long for 'Guru' status and it has been one of my greatest achievements in life so far 😍

To reach divine status will be my most glorious achievement yet and I will celebrate 🎉 🥂 with a shave befitting! My pvc will probably keep itself clean when I reach this level!
