Amazing the technology spurt a war can bring on.It amazes me that the Lancaster and the Vulcan were designed by the same man, and their maiden flights were only eleven years apart.

Could of saved time and made a pigeon pie.Daughter found a pigeon with a broken wing in her back garden.
Guess who was drafted in to - Drive into the centre of York (Daughter doesn’t drive.) Collect bird in a cardboard box. Drive back through the centre of the city and out the other side to the vet.
From there, it was drive to another part of York to collect granddaughters and bring them back here for the weekend.
The joys of family life…

Just can't please you.It is a bit of a contradictory day with a high of 23C later this afternoon and a nice light steady breeze going. Going against that lovely weather you have smoke in the air from the fires west of us heavy enough to trigger an air quality warning, so you had best keep your windows closed and the AC on if you have that choice. Sometimes you just can't win.

Just throw it away and get a proper razor.I will search through the googles to see if there is destructions for taking apart a Gillette Super-Adjustable black handle... mine is tight with twisting the clamp down and i don't want to just soak it in something to see if that helps... but in a few minutes i will do a shave before my search...
It's a proper razor for me... it's one that was made the quarter after i was made...Just throw it away and get a proper razor.

I have a '38 Gillette Sheraton like that. If it were made of pot metal, there may be no saving. If you could soak it in something that dissolves gunk, that may work. We use ammonia, a solvent, for ink pen metal parts. Maybe a solution of Dawn and 50% ammonia.I will search through the googles to see if there is destructions for taking apart a Gillette Super-Adjustable black handle... mine is tight with twisting the clamp down and i don't want to just soak it in something to see if that helps... but in a few minutes i will do a shave before my search...
i can get things like kroil or pb-blaster (meant for rusted together parls like bolts and nuts) but i like taking things apart to see how they work...I have a '38 Gillette Sheraton like that. I doubt it is rust, just human debris and soap. Do you have access to a compressed air?i can get things like kroil or pb-blaster (meant for rusted together parls like bolts and nuts) but i like taking things apart to see how they work...
So far it seems the soaking might be the only choice but i have time so i will keep looking...
I don't think it's rust but i have seen a couple of tricks online that could help like you posted but my kind of access to chemical things is mostly through a auto/truck parts store that's cheap or free to me...I doubt it is rust, just human debris and soap. Do you have access to a compressed air?
