So.
I like this razor, it’s certainly efficient but one that once I’d got it dialled in I’ve been shaving daily with. I’ve been using a very steep angle and get excellent results, two passes, no buffing.
I like the mild scalloping to the top cap which is mirrored on the baseplate, a nice touch.
Handle is perfect for me, I had no problems with grip.

It arrived safely yesterday morning.

Lovely finish and very well engineered.

I tried it this afternoon with a new Astra SP on 2 & 1/2 days growth.
Very efficient razor, I did a three pass shave with the result possibly the closest I’ve ever managed? Picked up 3 little weepers but they were all healed up by the end of my post shave routine. The alum block feedback was fairly savage!

I will probably try a two pass shave tomorrow evening for an early shift on Tuesday and see how scruffy I end up by late afternoon.

2 pass shave tonight and I made a bit of a mess, claret everywhere!

I’m going to try a different blade tomorrow but I feel this may be too much razor for me?

I had COVID back in February and wasn’t shaving regularly, I tried out a R41 head that I’d been kindly PIF’d twice on a week or so’s worth of growth. The R41 was far more forgiving that this razor!!

It nicked me virtually every shave the first week, a couple were quite bad. The second week it clicked and was getting great, close shaves.

Swapped places with @Stonec0ld. I have the Carbon again so seems daft to get the Menlo next.

As advised I’ve just used a different angle, tried to keep it perpendicular to my skin, and had a superb 3 pass shave.

Still decent alum feedback but not horrendous as before.

I used a Personna Med Prep with Tabac and I’m officially putting it as my closest shave ever!!!
Still picked up a couple of nicks on the base of my neck and Adams’s Apple but styptic pencil has stopped those. I will try a 2 pass tomorrow morning and see how it goes
