Months after Id bought the stone in this picture - a BBW with a wee bit Coti running through it - the bloke who sold it to me told me that it was used in the fitting of the Titanic!
I was tempted to say "you're just saying that to drive up the price", then I remembered he'd already sold it to me, (and for around a tenner).
If true, that's a cool thing. (luckily, the cabinet maker/joiner that used it didn't leave it on board - "I need that stone for my work! Och, I'll just jump back on the ship and get off at New York!")
