They are not made any more but Shaving ie have the remaining stock but they cost nearly £60.00 for 200 blades delivered so not cheap and getting more expensive every year!

Today we went on a day trip to a small town in the mountains and I picked up a couple of goodies.

First is a nice W. Greaves & Sons chopper that should clean up nicely.

The second is kind of cool. It’s a buffer from the estate of an old Jeweler that might be useful for cleaning up razors.

The motor is an old reversible Hamilton Beach sewing machine motor.

It was a good day[emoji16]

Great find on the neat little buffer.... Either replace the mop or remove the black hardened compound with an old fork whilst it's running. Grab some quality finishing compound and you'll be good to go.

Looking forward to hearing how the two compare, i.e. the effect of the knot length. I keep hammering on about the *systematic* factors that determine the feel and performance of the knots
