What do you think of the handle?

That knot is not going to fit. Unless it's a 22mm.

The RazoRock is a tight 24mm socket. And that's being generous.

I hope it works out somehow.

I had to get a 22mm knot when I redid mine.

The quality of the aluminium is very good Mem.

I may give it some polished bling ..... We'll see once it's been re-knotted.

Thanks for the heads up. I have several alternative knots if the 24mm isn't suitable. We'll see once I've removed the synthetic.

I would be very interested to know how you get on with this James as I have been thinking along the same lines for a while.
The knot is just not for me. The glue bump is ridiculous but as I was gifted this brush I want to hang on to it.
I think the handle is top quality for the money.

No probs Wayne, I'm keen to measure the socket once I've drilled out the knot. I'll keep you posted.

Mine was 26mm. I steamed out the knot (warning: handle gets VERY hot!) and it came out very easily and there wasn't too much glue residue to clean up. All in all a pretty easy task compared to other knots I've tried to get out.

From memory it was about 15mm deep. It was perfect for a 24mm knot, I think you’ll struggle to get a 26mm knot in there.

Mem.. You wouldn't get a 26mm knot in this socket. 25mm x 14mm deep.

Huh? I’m certain mine was 26mm! I did have to clean out some glue and used a Dremel to lightly sand the glue away but I’m sure I didn’t remove enough metal to open it up an additional millimetre.
