My third attempt at a synthetic. Immediate, pre shave impression is that neither density nor backbone impress me. Handle has significant heft, quality feel, but what does that do to overall balance? Will see how it performs tomorrow. (If I can manage to drag my aching, flu ridden body into the bathroom for a shave. Sure CBA today.) Upside, Mark threw in a few decals for free; my currently only Simpson misses its.

Interesting, I must say I fail to see the reason for the SimFix name? I appreciate Vulfix now own Simpson but there is absolutely no Simpson "DNA" in that brush to my eyes. Its a Vulfix handle with Vulfix synthetic fibres set at a Vulfix loft (63mm<Wrong, 52mm actually) all assembled in the Vulfix factory so...
Startlingly similair to the Vulfix large synth in fact: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vulfix-Simpsons-Large-Synthetic-Shaving/dp/B014FQC6QU
Sorry, I'm honestly not trying to rubbish your purchase Halvor... Just intrigued why on earth its called a SimFix... Bit like calling the latest Passat model a VW-Bugatti.
