I enjoyed using the raz=r it was foolproof but just couldn't give me a glass smooth shave unlike my De razors etc, I think it was because of the bars on the blades.

It’s given me what feels like a close shave, with no fuss at all. Time will tell how close over next couple of days. Don’t get me wrong though, the DE shaving is more enjoyable, however what it does do is change my view on how many razors I use.

The 9-Speed arrived.
I don't know what happened with other razors @p.b , @Dipesh but mine is usable.
Of course if you go more than 9, the handle spins and doesn't stop, but the head is steady. The blade alignment is not bad either. From #1 to #8 , the settings are ok and the handle is hard enough to adjust it.
I mean it's not great, but it's not poop either.
Some small blemishes on the inside of the top cap are minor.
The chrome plating is very nice for a razor that costs 10€ (final price).

It’s my favourite of the carts for a quick, no fuss shave. It does feel like you’re hailing Satan as a wet shaver but sometimes a quick shave is all you need.

I had not heard of this before. A two blade cart by Gillette called the SkinGuard. But seeing this has me wondering how a head to head with this razor and Gillette's single blade cart offering, ironically named the Guard, would turn out. I'm not a cart guy but there are the rare times when a cart is the only thing I have time for. I've used the Guard and while I would never say I love it, or even like it, I found it's shave to be acceptable in a pinch. I'm just intrigued by Gillette's offerings. The Guard, with one blade. The SkinGuard, with two blades. The Mach 3, with three blades. And then all of Gillette's five blade offerings. Clearly trying to cover all the bases. But none of them as well as a solid double edge. Anyone have experience with ALL of these?

The Skinguard is different in that the two blades are separated by a "comb" of sorts, putting the blades pretty far apart compared to e.g. a Mach 3 and pretty much all other current Gillette carts.
Gillette Guard doesn't have a built-in spring, the head only pivots.

Thanks for the rundown. As with everything, I'll have to find one and try the SkinGuard. Maybe do one side of my face with the Guard and one side with the SkinGuard.
