Thanks for the rundown. As with everything, I'll have to find one and try the SkinGuard. Maybe do one side of my face with the Guard and one side with the SkinGuard.

If you happen to have a Fusion handle, you can just buy the Skinguard carts themselves - they should fit.

Will have to check. The only cart I've used consistently was a Mach 3. Used it for years and years before I found out about classic wet shaving. I'm sure it won't be hard to find a SkinGuard with only one cartridge.

It was a Mach 3 that I used before I saw The Light. Can’t remember what it was like now though. Must have blocked out the memory…

Hello Randy.

After using Habitus soap a couple of times, I'm getting an idea.

It is a soap that I find difficult to make a good lather. I always use badger brushes on my face and it is quite difficult.

Once the lather is created, it softens the beard well and glides very correctly. The post-shave is good, but on my skin it falls behind the first formulation.

For me it is a very good soap but a couple of points behind what I consider Top. But of course this is on my skin

You are right, especially if you use a badger brush. You can bloom it with hot water before the shave to make loading easier.

It's not so soft, but if you gather good amount of soap on the brush after blooming, lather would be much better and easier, takes a lot of water too.
