It used to be a glass bowl. That description is out of date - they changed to plastic at least three years ago.

It’s a bit cheaper in the uk but then it will last a long time.

This is 18 shaves worth. To be honest it’s gone down more than I expected but I’ve been loading heavily with large brushes and I can knock out a B&M in about 30 shave.

No. It's left to dry for 6 to 8 months.
Still, the post shave is not good and the final lather is not equal with the price (for me).

The lather it produces with 10 seconds though is insane and very easy even for newbie @SpeedyPC who doesn't know how to use the brush

So if you do not think, MDC is not a Bargain, what do you like that is capable of making Monster Lather but still in your target price point.

I personally am not big fan of Hard Soaps because my Water in my home is nasty, if I Face Lather, if I leave a Pucks of Hard Soap wet it is contaminated by my icky , so they are prone to get nasty stuff growing in Hard Soap.

Someone suggest to me use a Scoop as a Scraper on Hard Soap, then put the shaving inn a Shaving Bowl, and make Lather. Might buy a CHEAP HARD so to exterminate with the technique.

Personally I like both PAA & Razor Emporium's Vegan soaps. They are capable of build a THICK MOIST LATHER that has good Slick Properties. IMHO the secret is spending the time to start slow with a little water, and add more until you happy with your lather. Takes time & effort.

For the hard pucks, use foil paper to let them fully dry on it (on an angle)
