Want to Play? By P J Tracy. I've read a couple of their books from the Twin Cities series and enjoyed them but didn't realise it was a series until I read the second book. Starting from the beginning now.

I've just finished reading the first six books in the Stainless Steel Rat series by Harry Harrison.

Just find Jean-Patrick Manchette's violent, existentialist, crime novels addictive at the moment...a slice of French noir so atmospheric you can almost smell the Gitanes and taste the black coffee...

Am now 60 pages into James Joyce’s Ulysses. I tried reading it when I was in my twenties but I can’t remember how far I got before capitulating. Only 900 pages to go…
