Das Grosse Spiel, I'm sure you meant in English it is "The Great Game".
EDIT: You are right, please accept my apologies. But for some reason they have it translated wrong as The Great Gambler. "Spiel" in English is "Game" so should be The Great Game.
Thank you for sharing, I have never heard of this book or author before, and will be looking for a copy of it now.
