No worries, thank you for the clarification. I won't praise Canada's health care system because I believe it to be as bugger up as any other country's is. Seems everyone has problems.

I was able to visit Quebec with the company I was with at the time circa 2001 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I even picked up a few French words. The dining was wonderful.

I have traveled through the Eastern provinces to Prince Edward Istand in the '90's before the bridge. Again. nothing but positive experiences.

As far as I know, it is a Federal holiday in the Province of Quebec regardless.

Besides PEI, I've driven to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. I especially enjoy their fiddle traditions, but have never been to Cape Breton. Natalie MacMaster and her late uncle Buddy MacMaster have a wonderful style.

The east coast of Canada is a great place to explore by car as we have done in the past. Driving the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton is not to be missed and be sure to visit Alexander Graham Bell Museum and the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic site too. Do not forget Newfoundland which is worth a trip of it's own.

In years gone by we have been lucky enough to travel by car to both coasts and up to the Yukon. Each trip was interesting to say the least. It is hard to appreciate the size of this country and it's diversity unless you drive it.
