"Modele normal" non-adjustable Gibbs razor, with two different blade exposures on opposite sides. The original blade is visible in this picture.

A very kind friend on another forum made this possible. Note that the Gibbs I used is a plated brass variant, not aluminum like I said in the video.

Any idea of when this is going to be for sale?
Not yet. I know Neil requested all feedback by the end of June so he could finalize the production design. I think he's already started tweaking the design a bit with the manufacturer. I don't really know how long it takes to produce them in larger quantities once he's placed the order. I think he was shooting for the fall if I remember correctly.

I enjoyed your review. Hope this clone makes it to the market soon and that I'm in the right line for one.

I've recently acquired and have been using another Gibbs clone, the Denali. My way too early to mention impressions of it are very good. I also like the Pearl Flexi but might like the Denali more. Not that I have or have used an actual Gibbs, but some of the clones are looking good.

Happy shaves,

Jim

If you're referring to the Heritage razor, when I signed up for the brush drop email notification it mentioned that they were on order, but no word on when he actually expected them to arrive.
The Heritage website is down do you know if this razor cancelled now?

Not canceled, but apparently, Neil is still having some minor issues with the adjustment mechanism that he's still working with the manufacturer to sort out. He wants them to be right before offering them to the public.
That’s good, it’s a shame his website is down. I’d love to order one as I love the design and look, I hope he manages to keep the price as low as predicted I’d have loved to get the pre order price.
