GEM or ER 1912 alternative razor handles

I thought it was American because it omitted the British 2BA thread. If you can get grub screws long enough then fine, but they're usually short. The advantage of a screw at least an inch long is that it can go right to the bottom of the thread in the handle, which gives it better solidity and purchase. That's my choice - and as you say, for reasons. Plus they're very easy to buy in the UK.
I even mention British Standard Whitworth threads... :rolleyes:
I just purchased some 3/8" 2BA stainless steel grub screws. I'll see how it goes. Looking at the BA Wikipedia page, they should be OK. Every time I buy non-metric stuff a little bit of me cries.

Ha! Out of frustration or nostalgia? Good thing about brass is that it avoids galvanic corrosion issues, though that's probably not a big deal.

2BA grub screws work fine.
I'll update the article.
Has anyone ever tried mounting a razor head on a dart? I'm tempted, but I don't own any darts. Yet.
