Finding the Ultimate Indian Shaving Cream

I've found 'Many Good Wampum' to do the job, though it does smell of buffalo.

@Dipesh Thats a lovely idea. I feel many creams/soaps in India have a very industrial & not so good feeling.
I have tried (not pictured) Godrej Menthol, Godrej Lime, Old Spice Original, Park Avenue cool blue, Godrej Shave Round, Biotique Palmyra and a few others I dont remember.
Of these the only one I still have is the Biotique Palmyra. All the others have either seen the bin or passed on to the local salons. And even the Biotique doesnt see a lot of use (no disrespect) since the surge of overseas artisan soaps.
The one artisan brand in India that has come to existence fairly recently is Trigodon. By far the best shave soap out of india. But comes with a steep price. (about 7 GBP for 2oz. or 60gms + P&P). That said, its something I really feel like using alongside my minuscule international collection.
PS: I reside in India and these things are quite easily available. Anyone who wants some to try some send me a PM. We can work something out

I for some reason dont trust this brand enough to try them out. Since you are asking, I might give them a try in my next shave. I'll be sure to let you know how it works. I'll try to be fairly objective in my approach.

I try to stay away from brands that advertise themselves as ayurvedic medicine. I mean how can a cream/soap be ayurvedic medicine ?
And now that I googled for the ingredients, alongside turmeric it contains sulphates and parabens. Not a big fan of them.

Sourcing this cream was harder than I thought. Wasn't quite easily available at a local convenience store. But Luckily scored one.
I am herewith sharing my initial experience with this cream.
The SOTD included:
Pre: Hot Shower / Locally sourced Neem Glycerine Soap
Cream: VICCO turmeric
Brush: Edwin Jagger Super XL
Razor: Taiwan Shaver shavette + Merkur 34C
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Black + Wilkinson Sword (chinese) (2) respectively
After: Nivea Sensitive aftershave balm
The cream had a bright yellow colour. Smelled quite generic but a clean fragrance. Consistency was a little harder that what I would have preferred. Then again harder cream means less water which is almost always better. I selected a rather floppy brush because it was a cream and it worked perfectly alright. Lather was almost instantaneous. I am not sure its all because of the cream or the pre soap. Either ways I was looking at a smooth clean shave.
The taiwan shaver was a little finicky to use and I quickly changed to the 34C. I was pleasantly surprised by the shave. I wasn't expecting the soap to behave the way it did. Will be looking forward to use it again, this time without the pre-shave soap. I hope this helps a little.

Glad you enjoyed the cream my friend. In Kenya they are giving away a free tube with every Vicco toothpaste bought. I find the cream good and interesting being labelled as a foam, yet having a more dense consistency as you found. Post shave is good too.

On my second experience today with Vicco, I found that for some reason the slickness just after a pass is some what absent. Because of this any touch-ups right after the last pass become quite difficult. You can always repaint the lather but it's something I don't like about this cream.

I've got a cool little tip for the Vicco, if you place the tube in hot water for a while before you use it to shave it will become more amber coloured and translucent. This makes the scent really pop and gives you an even better lather. Got this tip from @Lord Fatboy who is a solid Vicco user
