Asked for the Bideford Pottery to make me a Face Lather Scuttle, and collected this little beauty !

Very pleased with the results. It gets better, it was given for free as a thank you for my work getting our bowls and dishes. So I’m very grateful to the pottery and all who took part.

Whilst there she showed me a scuttle someone else has commissioned, a one piece one that looks very nice indeed.

Dmitri, the 0.74 OC is an extremely smooth and effective shaver. Two passes and an easy DFS with zero irritation. I had contemplated going for a greater blade gap, but glad I opted for the 0.74. More than enough for my beard.

A selection of 24 & 26mm Maggards knots. 2-band finest and 70/30 finest and boar.

I usually keep to the tried and tested MS or TGN for my knotting projects but I thought I give these a try. Quality and density appears to be good and the glue bumb is only slight. The 70/30 has a stiffer backbone and slightly more scritch.

The true test will be how they perform.

Will do Havlor.... At least one of those knots will look very different the next time you see it. It'll be dyed intense black and mounted in a RR matte black aluminium 400 handle.

By the way, I saw you picked up exactly the same Wolfman OC 0.74 brass. If you suddenly decide to sell (why do you need two identical razors with the same GAP ), you know who to shoot PM
