Yes, changing both of them after the shave.
But only in the 3D version, not the final one (stainless). There won't be any clips there.

Joserra Quacos (tobacco, vegan).

Very 'fatted' to start with, it dilutes nicely with (a lot of) water, to your choice of consistency. I could have kept on adding water but I already had too much thick and shiny lather for a three-pass shave.

The scent is nominally tobacco, on the dry side with a hint of barbershop. It won't replace SMN Tabacco Toscano or PAA Astra Planeta as my favourite tobacco scents but my wife liked it, nuff said.

Very nice hydrated lather. I would have worked it with a bit more air, to disappear the small bubbles to make it waterproof.

Well spotted and noted, I'm too impatient (but I think most bubbles disappeared when I worked the lather on my face....)

That looks nice, build wise are you happy with it?

Very solid razor.

But a rather short thread on the cap for the handle and as many have said no lather slots. Most likely to keep costs down (they do take some time to mill).

Now I have a blade fitted, I can see the lip I was so concerned about on the base plate, does not interfere with the blade.

It's no where near it and I apologise to anyone that may have been influenced negatively by my earlier reaction to the base plate.

The razor will be used for the Sunday shave.

Clips for what purpose?

They are there to maintain an even pressure on the blade, as the 3D material is more flexible than the metal razor would be.

Let’s hope it worth a bloody fantastic shave, because, I really do want one in my den and prefer stainless steel. There’s a copper version out now, so you guys better hurry it’s limited edition.

Merkur Progress copy.
I find this to be great value. Build quality is ok. Adjustment is a bit flimsy but chrome plating is good and blade alignment. I used at 4 and 2 and it felt like original Progress. Plenty of efficiency for me even at these settings.

I would be tempted but I suspect it would shave the same as the recent Ti razor, which I didn't get on with.
