I've just started to use this but find it spits a lot, more than most other oils at the same temperatures.I use rapeseed oil for most frying purposes and also smear on steak prior to griddling as I prefer it's capacity for using at high temperature. As someone already said, virgin olive oil is wasted for frying.
Yes Darron, regularly. I find it to be a very clean and non greasy oil. I mostly use it for the like of chicken breasts or eggs, where I prefer the texture and flavour. Great for stir frying too.Has anyone cooked with coconut oil?
Might have to give this a go. "What do you mean, you used all the coconut oil for frying so there's no 1912 in stock!"Yes Darron, regularly. I find it to be a very clean and non greasy oil.
