It just occurred to me – would the wet shaving world explode if a brass Vector was made??

@Masamune has it right. We can't make the Vector from a material as soft as brass. The center post presents an issue as does the entirety of the top cap body. It's all just too thin for a soft metal.It just occurred to me – would the wet shaving world explode if a brass Vector was made??

I'm still tempted by this razor even though I've had other SE razors. My issue has been how big the heads were so the Vector may be The One. Although it might just be the size of the blade ... I've noticed that on YT all the reviewers I've seen have a smidgen of chubbiness about them; I on the other hand being typically ectomorphic have the bone structure of a cross between David Bowie and Grace Jones. My jawline is extremely apparent unlike some on YouTube who just glide from eye socket to neck base without a pause over a well insulated phizog. I am somewhat envious but hope that when my monkey has battered me into submission to buy one the Vector will provide a hallelujah moment.

Dear @Randomangle , I am also the proud owner of a chiselled jawline (well, bumpy) and the Vector is still awesome. Its just the same as any razor- if the skin is concave then it needs to be pulled / stretched to flatten it.

I have other razors on their way to me at present and I will revisit the Vector department of the warren when they have been tested out. My trusty wallet is currently comatose so it will be a while before I can make more purchases. Thank you for the offer @Triple Milled , but please do not hold back selling on the BST if you are about to unload the Vector – I unfortunately have a terrible reputation for taking a looooong time deciding on things.
