Price was 195 € but they raised it since then because of high demand...

This would really help me out as well. It's not just the import duty but also the shipping. Surely one of the big European shave retailers would be interested in becoming a distributor for Blackland given their huge popularity?

Soul Objects carries the Vector and sometimes a couple other products. Working on a new UK vendor.

Shane, embarrassingly I haven't bought a vector or even tried one as yet, but I'm going to come out of my razor non buying slumber soon. One question regarding the OC teeth, will these be more rounded at the edges, than the early Blackland OC?

I’ll see what a base plate only plus shipping costs and maybe pitch in. It’s difficult to justify a whole machine finished razor at $200 when I already have a polished one with a standard base plate.

Polished will follow shortly, I gather. You could hold off and buy a polished baseplate only when available.
