Now, that is completely up the same street as me, just beautiful.
Thank you it was delivered just a moment ago, mint and managed to see past the strap and box, got lucky from flea bay for around £60 but I don't think it's a particularly valuable piece.

Well Seiko is very me and I'm a pragmatist, just a no-nonsense reliable watch, end of!

They actually look alright, I wasn't expecting them to be water resistant. They aren't are they?
Both watches still working fine after 6 weeks. I have tested one of them in the bath too......:rain: cant fault them so far for the money.

Sucker for a black face, looking for a new (ish) daily.

The watch code just gives me pings from the far and middle east hence I suspect that godawful calf skin strap and white box.

Oh and dark brown leather NATO ordered pronto.

Update...changed strap to a brown leather Nato from amazon, not the nicest leather in the world but for less than a tenner can't really complain.

Thanks honey, I've been on a Seiko black faced chrono splurge. Another convert, this time to a vintage bond nato strap from glossy black leather to deformalise it.

Oh...and not more than £75 in total for either of them. TanSeiko was used but mint, BondSeiko was a fleabay watch dealer selling NOS'ish, keep'em peeled.

A present to myself and very reasonably priced for the spec but at the very top of my own limited budget:

Had it a couple of months now and it's been quite wonderful. Sapphire crystal with 25 jewel Swiss ETA movement and incabloc shock protection. Water resistance is a completely over the top 300m but then it is a diver's watch (which I'm not but I like the style and Loreal baby, I'm worth it!). One slight criticism is that the lume isn't overly bright however, the steel wristband feels almost nuclear proof.

Keep telling myself - don't need another watch. Still, I have often hmm..ed over that same Bond strap. Tres smart!
