Aye, why not? Staff, what say thee? The forum needs a dedicated watch section or at the very least a cloak room.
I used to own that watch. Was given to me by my mother. Wish I knew where it is. These days I wear skagen watches. Really like the minimalistic style of them.Just slightly over budget but a lot of watch for very little money and I've bought from these guys a couple of times now:

Good Man! Reassuring to see what you said. The watch threads are, without doubt, my least favourite topics on the two shaving forums I'm familiar with. Very recently I saw a photo of a watch on someone's wrist (I think it was on TSR) depicting a model that meant nothing to me (not surprisingly) but I looked up similar watches coz I rather suspected it was gonna be a bit pricey. The similar models I saw elsewhere were available between £30,000 and £60,000. Wow. Not sure what the thinking behind posting pictures inferring ownership of a watch that costs that much...but I guess if you've got it, flaunt it.I was going to join another site, but the watch thread I found to be in poor taste (I'm usually skint). £50 seiko's and the like are more my line. It really is another World to be able to strap something so banal as a watch to your wrist, that costs more than what I paid for my house.
That Skagen is a lovely piece of understatement, though.
Don't get me wrong there @Cat_man_do, I'm not advising that £300 is a daily watch, more like it is an extravagance as a nice birthday present for yourself or someone... My £300 is someones else £30000.Indeed, DevonStan. If someone wishes to judge me on a bauble, a five quid Casio makes for an great impromptu berk filter. Ok Rowlers, I guess £300 is do-able!
Cor, too right! I remember as a lad we used to be all 'top trumps' about how many little gizmo's and features were on our watches. I remember one lad had a calculator, another a car racing game. I had to face north and wait for a break in the clouds! There is something cool about the cheap Casio's:
