This one is copy of Alpha handle.
I really don't get it. The shape is very close, yes. But specs are different.
I sell health products. Many products are very similar, but actually have different functions.
Because of the different specs. How they say ... function depends on structure.

The shape is not right.
I totally agree. This is not the shape of Outlaw.
Yep - basically a poor copy.
Poor?!?! Not. More metal, natural hair (not synth).
This shape does not come from Rubberset.
It comes from Alpha T-400 ...

I deleted all my comments. Its all to easy to be bitter and angry. Good luck to them - if they had an original thought they might have better luck though. My last words.
What a pity. Different point of view is the base of dialogue.

I'll just answer to this.

I'm sorry Steve. I'm not against you.
I tell you the same as for Shane at @Blackland Razors about Yaqi Gemini SE AC razor.
IMHO, design is a very slippery topic. I'm just a user, not an expert or a professional.
But in my 30yrs+ of wetshaving communities, I've seen lots of "new" designs.
Very few completely original. Amongs these, very few appealing.
Because in the last centuries all the designs have been already tried.
So, if It's nice ... almost for sure It's not totally new.

It comes from Alpha T-400 ...
The T-400 is an homage to the original Rubberset. That was always clear and as far as I understand the whole intention from the beginning. Based on that, Alpha took the ridges design element as inspiration and created something of their own with it. With the Rubberset, the ferrule has a large diameter and a mostly narrow handle part. The Outlaw is quite the opposite with its pear-shaped design, and the ridges are broader. It feels very different (and in my opinion, much more comfortable) in the hand.

The other aspect here is: The Rubberset is a classic and discontinued item. The Outlaw is a modern and currently available brush. It's one thing to revive something from the past, and I applaud people for doing so and keeping designs accessible. It's another to copy something from the present and leapfrog the whole r&d process while entering into direct competition with those who did the work.

(Alpha Outlaw, Alpha El Gordo, Alpha T-400, T-400 ferrule)

THIS is the point. R&D is "just" reversing the shape ratio.

I think there's a little more effort than this.
Side by side, the two are similar but different.
