Every baseplate would have same blade gap (I am really in love with the 1.50 mm), but the blade exposure would change from neutral to positive. I will not tell you what blade exposure test samples you will get, because I don't want you to be directed - I want you to withdraw conclusions and share honest opinion, even if it's very negative.
Can I conclude from this that the testers won’t know which configuration they receive? Or do we receive all options so we can conclude which one we like best ourselves? Not sure how to interpret how you want us to test.

I wrote a step-by-step instruction on how to rate razors. I've been using it while trying to understand various parameters, and also asked my friends and family to follow it whenever rating my prints. There are a few categories to rate (with explanations), and some general approach to follow.
I will contact every single one of you soon to provide input.

You will most probably get from me 3 different baseplates with caps, 2 handles, and a stand. I will not tell you the full specification of the heads.
Your goal would be to rate 3 setups by filling in the template I provide.

I will also ask you to share your feedback with me as soon as you are done testing, but when it comes to sharing the feedback publicly on the forum, I will ask you to hold on till all testers are done with testing, to not influence anyone’s rating.
Once all testers are done, then it's up to you to share it publicly or not, but I will urge you to do so, even if any of you hate these razors.

I'm scared now.
@p.b is the king of razors, he has tried a lot more than the regular wet shaver.

With so many things you will send, I ask for a soap/aftershave set and a brush.

Thank you 😂😂

Hi Dawid,

You messaged me and told me you were here after B&B hid your thread before you had a chance to answer my questions.

Great to see you plan to offer some different exposure options, which I think was one of the things I asked!

I was also curious whether you had looked into machining costs - it is quite a complex design compared to some other razors, so I wonder if that is a factor in scaling up the production?

I would be honoured and excited to test, although since I really don't get on with light razors I am not sure I am the best person to give feedback on a 3D print version. Would it be possible to put your head on a heavy stainless handle to get the kind of weight I am used to, or do you want people to also use your handle design? Handles are important I think, so I understand if that is the case.

Edit: Wow, my last post here was almost 3 years ago. There's been a lot of water (and razors) under the bridge since then!
