A new razor comming

At least this was my experience after 50 shaves with this specific head, even though Dawid thinks that the razor should start to degrade.
50 shaves with plastic side clips is crazy. I assume they don't hold at all by now.
Some testers asked me to supply them with spare razors as they continue to use them, but I think @Randy is holding the record 😅

Disclaimer: No plastic side clips were used after the 5th shave.

The razor became even better in difficult areas, IF you have some experience.

Great idea for the spare razors though !! I didn't think about or was too shy to ask.

Guys, take a look at what I picked up yesterday - these parts look fantastic, and the quality is excellent.
A few minor tweaks are still needed, but we’re almost at the final production version.

Whoa, after the issues with the previous manufacturing attempts, I didn't expect improvement this fast. Awesome.
Love the handles too compared to the original ones. I've been using the Spiral one mostly with the prototype. Feels quite comfortable for me.

I was a bit nervous to ask, but after I used some of my previous razors when I ran out of clips for the first prototype, that made it much easier to ask. I don't have as big of a collection as some of you guys, but razors that were my previous go-to razors, I couldn't seem to even want to use. I tried using the Vector, and I felt (for me) it was just not efficient enough anymore (more tuggy and pully than I remembered). Another razor that I used to use when I wanted a mild daily shave (Gillette Flare Tip), I also found way too inefficient as it was taking me 50+ minutes to do a head shave and not even get the same results as with the Prototype 1.5/0.2 that I was getting in around 25-30 minutes.

I can't imagine how it's going for you without the clips? That's awesome that you're using it like that. I wonder if the blade gap is increasing for you without the clips in certain spots of the head. I might just try it without the clips and see how it goes. You've inspired me to try it, but I think I'll use a milder blade .

The t8 without the clips and without tightening much, can shave easily 4 days of growth.

Didn't see that coming.

Hi @dawid , they look great. Just wondering about the grip, I reckon it is as designed, but why did you choose to have a smooth part on the grip, not all knurled / twisted? Doesn't it get too slippery then?

For the rest, hats off, great work. I still have a good memory of the t8, my favorite.

Choose the style for the looks. I love how they look.
Indeed, I was afraid that smooth surfaces might be too slippery, but so far, I wouldn't say that. I think the design works great.

I’m currently traveling, and the water here is so soft it almost feels oily. I shaved yesterday, and even with this oily water, the razor’s grip was solid.
The straight sections of the handle are blasted, which really boosts grip, while the smoother, curved areas rely more on their shape for control. I think it works really well and feels nicely balanced.

Then you must have used Le Pere Lucien Shaving Soap.

It's... alive!
Is that the Nord head in the video? Looks fantastic. What’s your aim for release date, next year?
Yep, that's a Nord head.
From what was said over at B&B:
I really would like to give you a possibility to test these razors as soon as possible, but I want to launch the project on Kickstarter, and the rules are clear - no selling is allowed before the campaign starts.
However, a Kickstarter pre-launch page will be available well before the campaign begins, allowing people to join a waiting list. Since quite a few sets will be ready by the end of August, I can guarantee that the first 20 backers will receive their orders by Christmas.

If everything goes well, the campaign should go live in September/October, with the pre-launch page about a month earlier.
The first deliveries are planned for Christmas this year.

Final Price??

Random choice, the T10 head let's say
Not available yet, sorry. I am still working on decreasing the cost as much as possible.
What I do know for sure, though, is that every baseplate will cost the same.
