The Schick Handle:

The Caerbannog - firsr shave later.

... and it turns out that the hinge for the slant is probably strong enough with two magnets.
Very very cool! With the center magnet being off-set, I'm sure it stabilizes the blade even more. Nice work

3D Printed SE Safety Razor

I just uploaded the STLs for this razor on Thingiverse. The shave is somewhere between normal and aggressive using a Feather PRO super. Soon I'll upload more razor heads with different blade exposure.

Very nice, thanks.
Next time I get stuff printed I'll add those.
I think I still have some of those blades.

And I have published my "Classic Injector Razor Handle" design on thingiverse.

Either as a replacement for broken Schick E/G handles or as a basis for the Caerbannog and other razors.
I have decided that the "Caerbannog" text on the handle had to go.
The handle will be plain.

Free for non-commercial use.

The Caerbannog Head will follow soon.

I will watch that.
I have seen this sundial before.
Absolute genius.
I am in complete awe.
That is the incredible thing about 3d printing.
Like with your razors, it allows real cheap testing of innovative design.
Fantastic.

This 3d printed Rocnel SE was more of a curiosity build. I don't own a Rocnel SE so, this is as close as I can get to duplicating one from looking at pics on the web. The first print had a slightly narrower channel and not a lot of blade exposure. Though I think this razor is more of a novelty, I was surprised at what good of a shave I got with this little thing. The attached illustration has a deeper channel and just a bit more blade exposure.

The files for the Caerbannog capless razor are now available for non-commercial use:

You'll also need to print the handle:

You will also need:
  • Three 3mm × 2 mm round magnets of grade N52
  • Superglue for the magnets and the handle
  • A small file in case the tabs are a smidgen too tight
  • An injector blade

As an owner of a Rocnel SE open comb, I can attest to the uniqueness of this razor.
Your homage looks impressive. Your eye for detail is excellent.
