Thursday

Preshave: Argan Oil Soap
Razor: Karve Brass SB D Plate
Cream: Proraso Blue
Blade: Feather (3)
Brush: Shavemac 24mm Synthetic
Splash: Proraso Sandalwood
Balm: Rosemary and Sandalwood
EDT: Dunhill Pursuit

I seem to have trouble with creams got the familiar burning under my eyes I have yet to identify the ingredient, but it seems to be shiny creams that effect me.

I am not sure what the scent is they were going for either as to my nose it is pretty unpleasant , stinks worse than Macca Root Cream from the Bodyshop :). unfortunately this one is not for me. In fairness though I would say the lather was very good and nice and slick.

Probably it's the liquorice.

For me, this cream has the most unique scent I have ever smelled in a cream. But it wasn't slick at all with almost non existing residual slickness.

This is a barbershop to me.

Pino Silvestre Shave Master
Omega 10051
Parker 97R
Gillette 7 o'clock Super Stainless #1
Brut Apres-Rasage

*Damn me, kings of shave, this Brut has nothing to do with this one, the one I was wearing into high school...

**The soap may be one of the best offerings made by TFS, slick, thick and the smell is like walking into a frozen pine forest. Wonderful, and I don't even like the smell of pines. Go figure.
**The backbone of this little guy is PHENOMENAL, but the splay for its knot size is even better, natural and doesn't hold much lather inside, 3.5 passes with one and only loading. And I don't prefer boar brushes. Go figure no2.
** The blade seems better to me than the Silver Blue and the sound of the Parker always fills the bathroom. Passed over the hair like a triaxial truck.

Yes some one else said liquorice and I can see that when I smell it from the tube , but Mixed I didn't like the scent , I thought the performance was ok.

@Calm_Shaver You liking the T3? I've been using mine quite a bit. I think I like the Omega EVO more in totality, but the T3 is damn fine brush, IMO.
@JoeLr I was blown away how different the T3 felt than my other synthetics. To me it resembled a Muhle Rocca STF v2 brush I sold in the past, but the T3 felt more comfortable, softer and a bigger knot which I like. Simpsons totally hit it out of the park and it is one of the best synthetics which resemble badger. Backbone was perfect, it resembled the Tuxedo knot with the softness of a G4 synthetic. It is a perfect balance and what I look for in a synth. The Omega Evo is on my radar, but I see it as more similar than different in my opinion. I guess only way to see is to try the Evo. Imo it comes down to $28 vs $64.
Edit::To whoever likes synthetics, I wholeheartedly recommend Simpsons Trafalgar T3 brush., it swings way above it’s price point.

The Brut isn't even good in performance IMHO. Doesn't leave a sliky smooth finish like many other splashes.

Where did you get the Pino soap?

@RandySp @pimple8

I suspect the TFS Pino soap George used today is the same as the TGS Pino Alpestre I used the other day:

Performance? Never tried goodfellas soap. Similar to Proraso or Razorock perhaps?
I like the Pino Silvestre scent.

There is a discount in one Italian web shop right now, i just might check that one out, along with Furbo I plan to order.

Tcheon Fung Sing (TFS) make the TGS and some (all?) of the RazoRock soaps. The TGS soaps are good performers for the money and have some nice scents.

TFS have a quite a wide range of performance in their soaps. There's some poor options and some really good soaps. I'd say the TGS soaps are middle to lower-top
end of that range.
