So we know the cost of the soap but whats the shipping to yourself and then out to us Erik? And if you're local enough in london can I just collect mine from you?

I figured everyone would want the cheapest shipping available, but I leave it up to the individuals how they want theirs shipped from me to them.
I live in Cambridgeshire, I have no problems letting folks collect from my house or other nearby location.

So a few things that should help.

I will make the shipping per soap the same at the US rate for 1 soap - $1.99.

You order one soap - $1.99

Orders over $40 = FREE

That keeps us basically whole on not losing any money to ship to Erik.

Erik - my initial plan will be to put an invoice in each order and to place each order into their own padded shipping envelope. I will not seal these, then you can repurpose when shipping in the UK.

I will ship all orders in one or two boxes to Erik. This should save a LOT of money on shipping as you all already know.

We are open to any suggestions that help this run even smoother.

My initial plan is to create a coupon code that has the letters ATG at the beginning of it - anyone who uses this code for the given period of the group buy that lives in the U.K. will have their soaps shipped to Erik and anyone stateside who uses this code will have their soaps shipped from us directly to them as we normally would.

Is that fair? Anyone see any holes in that plan?

I just created a code to discount the soaps as I mentioned in an above post. Now for the shipping piece.

IF the U.K. folks enter our Soapy Science shipping address in the address field - my website merchant will allow me to charge the US shipping rates - then you would provide your actual address to Erik on the other side of the pond and all should be good.

OR I can PayPal invoice each person but that creates potential delay if someone waits to pay for days on end while the box is almost packed and ready to ship to Erik.

You all let me know what you want and we will make it happen!

What about people who don't live in the U.K. but are still interested in participating? And (I guess this question goes to @Mr_Smartepants as well) is there any way to ballpark the total shipping costs door to door? (I live in Germany, but as far as I can see there are several members from other European countries here in this thread, so maybe a few examples, if possible?) Sorry for the bother, I hope that's not too complicated.
