@AlexNoodles when I saw this post yesterday I was wracking my brain trying to remember the app I used before my wedding. Then I went through my old download history and still couldn't find it. Anyway I just remembered the name. I used the free version. However, a quick search brought up this paid version:

Loved this app, it starts of easy and increases difficulty at the right stages. Definitely saw some results after a short while, however, this was in conjunction with a strict diet and plenty of swimming.

There are 3 quite simple apps called sit ups, squats and push ups. You put a target in and it gives workouts that build you up to a target such as 100 straight push ups.

your original post is what inspired my post, I just couldn't remember the details or if it was here, or at TSR, however it's iOS only for me.

Will do some digging, just after something couch to 5k esque :)

I seem to remember having used a Nike training app for a while, but the programme was more comprehensive than push- and situps only.

Currently use a sling and no app :)
