Aye, t'has. I had one before and although I get better results with less effort using the 34c, the HD is such an iconic razor for me so I had to have another go. Use it once so far and had a lovely shave. Must remember to use it more.
As I've not had either, what's the difference between the 34c and HD? Googling 34c just shows me a 34c HD...
They are both incorrect names for the Merkur 90 34 001 razor. The 34C (C for chrome) is understandable as '90 34 001' is just stupid, but the HD is something our brethren across the atlantic came up with for some reason. Best avoided IMHO...
@SmallBeard the 34c and the 34c HD are one and the same razor, old bean. The HD we're referring to here is the Gillette Rocket HD.

All healed up now, was a hell of a fright when I went for a quick wee before the flight to find my boxers filled with blood. It was a fantastic holiday, thanks for asking. Fortunately when I had an op on my thumb recently I bought a box of dressings, and they worked perfectly on my injured baws.OOOOOooooofffftttt!!!
